Financial Trust Federal Credit Union member, you will always have the opportunity to review your information and make necessary changes to ensure that our records are complete and accurate.
We will share information regarding you with third parties only when, in our judgment, either (a) you have authorized the sharing of information, (b) we have previously informed you in disclosures that we will share information, (c) we are compelled by law or valid court order to do so, or (d) we have entered into an agreement with a third party for support services (in which case the third party will also agree to maintain the confidentiality of our members' information).

Financial Trust Federal Credit Union will offer you a choice in how your
information is used. Any member of our credit union may elect
to keep their information from being shared with our business
partners. We will inform you on how to exercise your choice,
and we will take all reasonable steps to make sure your requests
are followed. At least once a year, we will remind all members
of their right to choose.
ONLINE PRIVACY –
Financial Trust Federal Credit Union recognizes the importance of maintaining a presence on
the World Wide Web for informational and e-commerce purposes
in both attracting new members and retaining existing members.
For the purpose of this statement, online activity is defined
as the ability of members to access personal account information
and general Credit Union information, to initiate transactions
on your Credit Union accounts, and to apply for additional
Credit Union products and services online. Our Privacy Statement
is the same whether you are online or not.
ONLINE FORMS –
Financial Trust Federal Credit Union provides several online form resources (i.e.: loan application)
to better serve the needs of its members. Personal information
provided by a user via any of the Credit Union's online forms
is used by the Credit Union only to process the member's request
for service. All information that passes between Financial
Trust Federal Credit Union Internet Banking and the user's PC is encrypted
to protect the user's privacy.
E-MAIL COMMUNICATION - Personal information
transmitted to Financial Trust Federal Credit Union may be used by Credit
Union staff to respond to inquiries for service or information
or improve the service the Credit Union provides. Since e-mail
communication may not be secure against interception by unauthorized
individuals, users should seek alternatives to e-mail when
it is necessary to provide sensitive or personal information.
Therefore, the Credit Union will not knowingly transmit or
inquire to sensitive or personal information that can compromise
or violate a user's privacy when communicating via e-mail.

customers. Financial Trust Federal Credit Union is not responsible for

either the Third Party or you, the member, if you enter into
a transaction. In addition, Third-Party Sites are not covered
by Financial Trust Federal Credit Union privacy or other policies. Further,
Financial Trust Federal Credit Union is not responsible for the privacy
practices or the content of the Third-Party Sites. You are
